Have You Created Something with Seear Lights?

We'd love to showcase your project! Send us your photographs along with a few words about what you created and the Seear Lights products you used. Your creation could inspire someone else to begin their own restoration, craft project or lighting transformation.

Q: Can I make window displays and suncatchers from Seear Lights chandelier crystals?

Yes you can. When the sun catches the facets they cast dancing rainbows around the room making them effective for use as suncatchers.

This client bought our end of line clearance seconds range  and requested as broad an array as possible.

Q: Is it easy to build a chandelier from scratch?

Yes. At Seear Lights we now sell chandelier kits which include all the ingredients for you to build your own unique chandelier.

This is our 'Maximalist' model as shown by a client in situ in their home. We have a growing collection of unique kits available.

Each model is unique and you can request specific colour crystals.

Q: Can Seear Lights chandelier crystals be used outdoors?

Yes, although the parts likely to fail in wet and cold are the metal rings connecting the pieces together. These however will only tarnish and can be replaced / renewed if needed.

Our octagon garland pieces below act as substitute 'water features'

Q: Can Seear Lights chandelier crystals be used as Christmas tree decorations?

Yes definitely. Over the years buyers have sourced chandelier crystals from us for this very purpose. Christmas tree lights make the crystals glimmer and shine even more and are a perfect accompaniment as decorations

Q: Are the Seear Lights beaded light bulb covers only suitable for chandeliers?

No, although the beaded light bulb covers complement chandeliers particularly well, they are not exclusively for chandeliers. Over the years clients have bought them for use with table lamps, wall lights, light fittings and smaller spaces where a lampshade does not fit.

Q: How do Seear Lights clip-on lampshades fit to a light fitting, will it fit mine?

All of the 'little lampshades' that we sell are in fact 'universal size'. Rather than fiddly attachments linking them to a lamp holder, our shades simply clip on to a lightbulb. They fit candle shaped bulbs best but by squeezing open the shade's clamp, it can also fit to a regular 'Newton' shape lightbulb.

A useful feature of the clamp design means that our shades fit ceiling light fittings, wall lights, chandeliers and even smaller design table lamps.

Q: Does adding a colour accent to a chandelier make an interior too over powering and end up coming across as too 'busy'?

No, we don't think so. A balanced approach that ties in neatly with the colours in your room can be extremely effective. Matching a colour or introducing a complementary contrasting colour can look incredibly sophisticated.

Q: Can Seear Lights supply chandelier crystals and lighting parts for larger projects?

Yes, we have supplied chandelier parts and crystals for not only larger projects like those shown below but are proud to have supplied stage, TV and Film production and props companies over the years. Customer privacy prevents us from discussing which specific shows and productions though!

Clear cut glass chandelier crystals are particularly favoured.

Q: Should multi-colour chandeliers be limited to just a few key colours?

No! If you decide to create a maximalist look chandelier, limiting yourself to a small selection of colours will not achieve this. You have to add as many colours as you can! At Seear Lights not only is there no minimum order required but you can order one of each model of as many or as few designs as you wish. See our entire range.

One of the most rewarding parts of running Seear Lights isn't simply supplying chandelier crystals, replacement parts and lighting accessories—it's seeing the incredible creations our customers make with them.

Every week we're inspired by the imagination, craftsmanship and creativity of people who choose our products. From beautifully restored antique chandeliers to sparkling window decorations, handmade gifts and one-of-a-kind lighting projects, our customers continually prove that a little creativity can transform something ordinary into something extraordinary.

This page celebrates those ideas and hopefully inspires your next project too.

Restoring Beautiful Chandeliers

Many of our customers arrive looking for just one missing crystal. Others are restoring an entire chandelier that has been in the family for generations.

With our extensive range of crystal drops, octagon bead chains, connectors, pins and replacement parts, we've helped bring countless chandeliers back to life.

Creating Stunning Suncatchers

One of the most popular ways our crystals are used is in handmade window suncatchers.

Whether suspended individually or combined with colourful beads, charms or driftwood, our cut-glass crystals catch the sunlight beautifully, filling rooms with dancing reflections and colourful rainbows.

Many customers tell us that what began as one small project quickly became a new favourite hobby.

Wedding & Event Decorations

Our chandelier crystals have become a favourite with couples, florists and venue stylists.

Customers have used Seear Lights products to create:

  • Elegant table centrepieces
  • Reception decorations
  • Hanging displays & ceremony backdrops
  • Wedding favours & wishing charms

The result is timeless elegance that guests remember long after the day has ended.

Creative Home Décor

Not every crystal ends up on a chandelier. Our customers have transformed them into:

  • Window decorations
  • Wall hangings
  • Decorative garlands
  • Mirror embellishments
  • Lampshade decorations
  • Seasonal displays
  • Handmade gifts

Some of our favourite creations come from people simply experimenting with ideas using crystals, beads and found objects.

Designing Your Own Chandelier

One of the most exciting projects we see is customers designing completely original chandeliers.

Using our chandelier frames, crystal droplets, bead chains and connectors, customers create lighting that's truly unique.

Some choose a traditional crystal design, while others incorporate vintage jewellery, sea glass, charms, coloured beads or family keepsakes to produce a light fitting that tells a personal story.

No two creations are ever the same.

Lighting Solutions with Style

Some of our most talked-about products are those that solve everyday lighting problems in a beautiful way.

Our beaded light bulb covers have become a favourite with customers looking to soften the appearance of bare bulbs without installing a traditional lampshade.

It's one of those simple ideas that often prompts the reaction:

"Why didn't I know these existed?"

We Love Seeing Your Projects
